First goal met (short term)

Met my first goal of losing the first 5lbs!!! Yes, I know it isn't very much but every little bit counts!! I have learned that if I focus on losing 5lbs at a time I won't get overwhelmed with the larger number. Now instead of 43lbs to lose I have 38lbs to lose. And I am going to do it 5lbs at a time!!

I set my goals at 10 lbs. I'm getting to meet my goal of 200 lbs. then my goal becomes 190. Ten pounds sounds so much easier than saying my goal is losing 60 lbs. It gives me little victories and, more importantly, it works for me!0
