I guess this is the closest to cosplay I've done so far, though I didn't wear it to an actual con, I just used it for a fun photoshoot. Black Widow from Marvel

This was me as Cure Moonlight (from Heartcatch PreCure) at Dragon Con on August 31, 2013:

If this were two years ago, I wouldn't have had the courage to even TRY wearing this costume! I do intend to wear it for Halloween, too!

One of my biggest reasons, aside from health, for weightloss is to be able to cosplay and do it well. It's hard to effedtively pull off a costume when I'm heavier (Short skirts plus ginormous *kitten* doesn't work out too well). I would love to be able to go to Comic con dressed up as the Classic Rogue or Anime Fest and dress up as whoever I want!!!

and you will be one freaking HOT rogue! :):)

to whomever said cosplay was gross, i suppose you're entitled to your own opinion, but that's a bit harsh, don't you think?

I don't know why some people have a problem with cosplay. When I go to Dragon Con, one of the first things I look for are the cosplayers. I have never cared what they look like, as long as they're having fun. That's all that matters to me. That's one of the reasons I refuse to watch that "Heroes of Cosplay" show on SyFy. Too much drama, and not enough focus on those who don't spend thousands on the costumes.

I am planning on attending Comic Con this year for the first time. I'm training really hard to get my body the way I've always wanted it. I want to look freaking smokin' in my costume and I just want to have fun. I'm designing my own costume that is semi unique and I'm so excited. I'm curious though, what do you guys think a good character would be for me?

I've just completed my first ever modification today

Going to Collectormania on the 15th and wanted to go as Boba Fett, as it is impossible to find a Boba Fett costume for women in the UK and even harder to make my own, I am going as Mrs Fett. I sprayed a toy boba fett blaster and added battle damage, then bought a helmet and spent this morning spraying that too. The rest of my costume is on it's way so will put up another picture once I have the complete outfit!
