Hi I’m Auntie Chrissy. I’m new to the community but looking forward to being a part. I’m having some trouble with logging my meals. I don’t feel like I’m getting the right caloric intake. I just started my weight loss journey and I do feel that this is a great tool to have I’m having some issues. I’m a bit older and not too tech savvy. Please help.

There's a bit of a learning curve to logging accurately, it's true.
For homemade dishes, this is my suggestion:
- log the individual ingredients (raw weight) into a recipe or (my preference) save it as a meal
- weigh the finished dish (subtract the weight of the cooking pot/pan/...)
- weigh the individual cooked portion you eat and log the appropriate fraction of the total meal/recipe

Same! I get so frustrated logging things because I often can't find what I need, especially if it's a well known restaurant. guess we will get the hang of it soon. hang in there!0
