I found Noom irritating, slimming world was good until it had a new leader, the Y plan was just too far to get to without transport, second nature provided a rubbish mentor. Of The best plans I have done, one was part of a research project, another was provided by Newcastle City Council. My very best effort was actually during covid when I had the incentive of losing weight before surgery. I self isolated and bought healthy food on line and stuck to 800 calories per day. It has all gone back on and now I am facing surgery again. Anyone else identify with this?

In a very small way. I'm old, lived way out in the country. The only thing available was Weight Watchers, and it was worse than trash. I went from that to a wonderful, very knowledgeable, very helpful dietician.
