Lbs. Lost Not Showing

Hi there,
I'm back after regaining over the last couple of years. I've always had great luck using MFP, but for some reason, lbs lost isn't showing on my Home page. I've lost 3 lbs so far, but under "Lbs lost" is still shows zero. Does anyone have any idea why this is so?
Thanks!

As suggested, go through your settings and make sure you have alerts set the way you want them.

If all is well, then relax and wait a week or two. Sometimes MFP has some bugs. Staff always manages to figure them out and fix them. If it isn't better soon, submit a help ticket. Be aware that there's a whole lot of people that are either new to MFP or are returning after being away. That happens every year about this time. That might put extra stress on the system that runs it.

Question for YOU: What will you do differently this time so you don't gain the weight back? Maintenance is really just as hard as losing weight. It's actually exactly the same except you can have a few more calories per day, and you don't get that pat on the back from seeing the scale go down or MFP giving an auto-feed on your loss. Once in maintenance you can turn off that "lost xx pounds" feature because otherwise it will feed your loss all the damn time even though, overall, you're not gaining or losing. Well, you are, but it's the same two to ten pounds over and over and over. Oh the joys of maintenance....

Have you checked your goal set-up, specifically your starting weight?

    Is your scale Bluetooth synced?

If it’s a Renpho scale, my scale has to be set to “weight” while I’m weighing and it has to make the chime. If it’s set to “trend” or one of the other settings there can be a delay syncing the results to scale, and thus MFP.

    Thanks for your comments.

My scale is not bluetooth synced. I manually enter in my weight on the website.

I will double check my settings, and I will definitely be giving more thought to the answer given to me by you, mtaratoot. It is time to stop losing and regaining the same weight over and over. I've done this about 5-6 times now since I quit smoking 29 years ago. I know exactly what happens: I lose the weight and then go right back to my poor eating habits which caused me to gain to begin with. What did Einstein say? “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”
