Hi there.
I've always struggled with my weight and body image. I've tried lots of stuff -- was vegan for 3 years, but never had a healthy relationship to food as a teen.
Now as an adult, I've had lots more freedom and things to worry about besides the number on the scale, so I let things slide, and gained a bunch of weight that I put lots of effort into maintaining as a teen.
Now I feel like I'm cultivating a healthier relationship to food and exercise. I'm eating at a deficit, but allowing myself to have more nutritious sustainable meals makes me feel amazing.
I'm hoping to lose 50 pounds. Exercise is the hardest part for me! I love doing yoga but the motivation to do it can be the hardest part, especially now in winter.
I'm glad to be here!
