Hi everyone, I am curious has anyone ever tried Skinnyfit formula and does it ever work ??? With aging, losing weight, and hair plus nails those kinds of things are supposed to make you look young and feel more energic or whatever. I am wondering if it is worth taking it every day. Or is it just a bunch of BS just like those fake diet pills and kinds of stuff?? Please let me know I am thinking of trying it.

It certainly uses a lot of the rhetoric that goes with products whose hype exceeds their benefits, and it seems especially expensive even for supplements.
Some of the products seem to be mostly various types of collagen, and there's some research suggesting collagen can have some benefits beyond just basic protein goals. I'm betting there are cheaper sources, if a person wants to try that play.
I'm hugely skeptical of concepts like "superfoods", "detoxes", plus products that advertise things like " 34 essential superfoods, stress-relieving adaptogens, & pre and probiotics" (as Skinnyfit Skinny Greens does). If the serving size is a drink or a capsule, I'd guarantee that no matter how useful those 34 things may be, there isn't enough of them in there for all of them to have demonstrable benefits.
I'm an old curmudgeon about this kind of thing, though, preferring to focus on getting all-round reasonable nutrition at appropriate calories as the first, best strategy for health. I do use some supplements, but all have either been doctor-recommended, or things I've personally decided to try because of limitations of my eating habits. (For example, as a vegetarian, I supplement B-12.) I think that absent a diagnosed health condition or deficiency, relying on supplements (vs. focusing on healthy eating) isn't the best strategy.
I did lose weight (50-some pounds, around 8 years ago, still at a healthy weight now at age 68). However, despite being pretty physically functional (strong, athletic) for my demographic, I look every bit of 68 IMO, and I don't have cute hair, so there's that.
Just my opinions, as always.0
