Same message after completing my diary daily

Every day the message says " in 5 weeks you'll weigh 149 pounds. Even after I'm in the app for 2 weeks, the message never changes. It always says 5 weeks. Anyone know why?

Are you weighing in or updating your weight along the way? The approximate is based on the current weight entered.

    Ignore that thing.

It says, "If every day were like today...." No two days are alike. Stick to your goals, log honestly and completely, and don't beat yourself up if you have a bad day.

Another thing you could do if you wanted would be to get a spreadsheet and track your rolling average weight. It's more important than one-day weight because of fluctuations. If you want to go deeper, track your deficit/surplus alongside of it. Then you can see your own trends, and you can even interpolate what you might see in five weeks.

But that silly thing when you close your diary? Pay it no mind. It's not going to help you.

I don't even close my diary anymore. For one reason I realized that I still get some activity after I'm done eating/logging. My activity is tracked by a Garmin device. I often wake up with a bigger deficit (smaller surplus) than when I closed up MFP.
