Water consumption data won't transfer from MFP to Apple Health

Anyone know why Water Consumption data entered in MFP won't transfer/link to Apple Health App? Everything else comes over.

    Currently water is not expected to sync from MyFitnessPal to Apple Health.

    I see this request has been going on for many years. Are there any plans for the staff of MyFitnessPal app to rectify this in the very near future?
