I have been using this app for a 1.5 years. I’ve lost 40 pounds! I feel like what I used to do, the meals I used to eat, don’t work anymore. I don’t know what to adjust to lose the occasional couple pounds that I gain occasionally. Does anyone have advice?

Are you just restricting calories or do you incorporate exercise as well?

Could be you are not in as big of a caloric deficit since you’ve lost the 40… if you’re not doing some type of exercise I would suggest that so you don’t have to cut more calories

I agree. The calorie goal that you had at 200 pounds with the same exercise you did at 200 pounds just won't work at 160 pounds. Re-figure your tdee and subtract the calories you need to subtract to lose the weight. (Or use the calories you're using to maintain)

Agree with others, you’re no longer in a deficit (or it’s much smaller than it was at your initial weight).

Good rule of thumb is to also break up your cuts with intermittent periods of maintenance intake (recalculated to your new TDEE as was mentioned), if for nothing more than a mental break.
