Hi

Hi I’m Estella, just joined my fitness pal. Started strength training in November as well as some cardio. I’m 62 and have been a pescatarian for about 2 years now. I’m glad to be a part of the community.

    My name is Yolanda and I'm 53. I have been on here for awhile now but never made friends. I can give out support and motivation when you need it. I could use a buddy.

    Welcome Estella,

    Friends are fine, but they may or may not offer the support you long for. If you're looking for a place to share your successes and frustrations and maybe bounce ideas off other like-minded folks, you might check out a group here that I participate in. It's called "Lose 1 Pound a Week and Keep it Off." It's a private group, so you have to request to join, but you'll be approved.

    We have only two requirements. First, list your starting weight and your goal weights for the end of the four quarters. The second is to post a weighing-in once a week. Post any day of the week, but the due date is Monday nights.

    We have some ongoing challenges that are totally optional, and we try to have some fun "special" challenges that last a week or two.
