    I work out, still ate sweets, got good nutrition overall, hit my calorie goal most days, lost 50-some pounds, have maintained a healthy weight for 7+ years since loss.

    Within reason, sweets can be eaten - eating sweets is not doom.

    Hello, I eat sweets too. I found to include the calories in my daily plan. Because if I deny myself I will binge eat the sweets.

    Welcome to the community!

    I'm not motivated by sweets, but if I were, I'd find a way to work them into my way of eating. In fact, I don't think it's that uncommon to eat sweets WHILE working out to get a good supply of fast-acting carbs to fuel that workout.

    Are you trying to stop eating sweets or just saying that it's totally fine to do so? I think it's fine as long as it's in moderation.

    What are your goals?
