Does the app not allow any input after opening for anyone else? iOS

Is anyone else struggling with the app randomly not working? It allows me about 3-5 'clicks' where I can add food, copy meals etc then it just stops working. Pressing the screen does nothing. No other apps do this for me so its not my phone.
I have redownloaded the app 5 times and this has continually happened over the last 4 months.
The only way I can add a whole day of food is to quit the app and reopen 20 times which is incredibly frustrating. I have stopped using it because of this even though I really want to.
