Not always letting me create a recipe

I frequently create recipes to more accurately track my macros, especially for recipes I make often. Recently I have been receiving an error message when trying to create recipes - it will let me import from other websites, replace ingredients and get the details all lined up, then when I go to save or log it, I get an error message: "There was a problem logging your recipe, please try again later."

It's very frustrating when I've just put the effort in to log everything correctly, but then cannot save it. Is anyone else experiencing this, and have they found a solution to it?
