unable to connect to server on my mobile app

For the last couple of days, the app has been unable to connect with the server, and I cannot log in to record entries and have had to go to my computer. It sounds like it is a problem on MyFitness Pal's side. Anybody else having that issue?

I've contacted app support as app logson then logs me straight out when I try and add a food to diary0
