Fat loss.

I’m 5’ 9 male 19 115lb. I feel fat and I can feel that I have a high body fat percentage and hate it. What can I do to reduce fat. I try to not eat til I’m full since I hate that feeling. And limit my food during the day to snacks. But I don’t think I’m getting anywhere.

    Below is what smart BMI suggest for a person with your stats. I don't personally think they're too far off target.

    If you're currently worried about excess body fat you're concentrating on the wrong issue.

    The calculation of the body mass index is based on a height of 5 feet 9 inches (175 cm) and a weight of 115 pounds (52.2 kilograms).

    BMI = 17

    Your body mass index (BMI) is calculated as exactly 17.0 kilograms per square meter.

    Health aspects

    Your weight is at a low level; in our view, it may lead to considerable health problems.

    By classification of the WHO, you are "underweight".

    SBMI = 15/70

    This assessment is based on the newly developed Smart Body Mass Index. Its ideal range is between 30/70 and 39/70.

    Your Smart Body Mass Index (SBMI) is calculated as 15/70 or "15 points out of 70".

    Things that you may want to discuss with your doctor

    It is important to know whether a serious disease or deliberate weight loss has caused the emaciation Whatever the case, medical help is advisable.

    Possible causes
    Undernourishment
    Maldigestion

    Possible measures
    Set a weight target
    Nutritional Psychological: coaching, therapy
    Disease-specific therapy

    Important to know

    This feedback can only be based on the inevitably limited extent of the data that you have entered here. This data has been evaluated by comparing it with the results of the most comprehensive study published so far on the BMI and its associated health risks.

    The results and comments above can only give you an estimate that applies to all young men at 19 years of age with a body mass index of 17, as a statistical group. They are non-personal. They should never replace medical advice.

    According to the Center for Disease Control and Health, your BMI and weight put you in the "underweight" category. The minimum "healthy weight" category has a 5'9" male at 125 pounds. Here's a link to that article: https://www.cdc.gov/healthyweight/assessing/bmi/adult_bmi/index.html
