    Hi there,

    Can you give us a bit more information? What for do you think you need simple carbs? Most fruits should be simple though most people would prefer complex carbs, and get enough protein and fats.

    They're anything described as monosaccharides and disaccharides which for the most part are in fruit, fruit juice, sweet potatoes and beets as examples, also high fructose corn syrup and sugar.

    Building muscle is basically having the material to do it, which is protein with sufficient overall calories and this is where those particular carbs will help that process and a weight resistance program that challenges your muscles to adapt and grow and giving your muscle adequate time to recover and do the growing.
