Managed to lose over 2 stone for my 50th birthday a couple of years ago. Felt soooo good, better than I'd felt in years. Then my dad had a stroke and my mum fell ill with terminal cancer.
I comfort ate (and drank) my way through the last 18 months, dealing with watching mum die and caring for my dad.
Now, I've never been this heavy and unfit in my life! It's time for me to focus and get those 2 stones off again.
Signed up for 100 miles for Csncer Research in Feb so starting from tomorrow I'll need all the motivation I can get!
Any like minded 50 somethings out there?

Won't be 50 for another couple years, and sorry for your recent trials and tribulations. But you got this, you're stronger for having survived. Welcome to MFP!1
