So I am trying to really shed about 20lbs in two months. I was told that green apples really help burn fat. Is there some truth to this?

Of course not, unless they are so sharp & bitter you do not eat them0

Twenty pounds in two months is a rather ambitious goal. Is there some reason that you need to lose weight that fast? It may not be realistic for you, depending on your starting weight, your BMR, and your TDEE.

No food burns fat. Moderate lacking of it does.

The only thing that burns fat is the metabolic process. Your body needs calories to perform activities and maintenance. If there are not enough calories from the food you eat then it burns stored fat. If there are more than enough calories from the food you eat, it adds them to your stored fat. Green apples are just going to be broken down and digested like everything else. What matters is whether you have a calorie deficit or not.0
