App takes long time to start up

Why since product update the other day it now takes a long time for the app to load

    My wife and I are both also experiencing this. We are both using MyFitnessPal v24.4.0-33360 on Samsung Galaxy s22+ 256GB phones running Android 14 (Samsung OneUI v6.0).

    It takes 12 seconds from the time we tap on the app shortcut to the time the dashboard appears. The entire time is spent on the launch screen with the "Please wait..." message and a rotating circle.

    Customer support emailed me with a "fix" that of course didn't work.

    I just installed an update for the MyFitnessPal app. It is now at version 24.5.0-33477, but it still takes the same amount of time to get to the dashboard.

    I'm having this same issue with version 24.7.0 on my Google Pixel 6

    We have the same issue on both of our phones. That and exercise randomly updates in MFP with no rhyme or reason. Not sure why we're paying for premuim. It should be faster with no ads. Seems like the last releases get worse.

    I'm on a new iPhone and version 24.18.0 of MFP (latest) and not able to see my profile page, or friends' profile pages and the newsfeed will not load past the first load of postings. I've reinstalled the app and all the steps that support keeps resending me (same thing, please reinstall the app bullsh*t). Still nothing. Frustrating.
