Hi there

My name is Tony, 54, from the UK; I was a heavy drinker, no exercise and loved a large kabab that had resulted in my weight skyrocketing to 178kg!

In October last year, I slipped and fell on holiday, broke two ribs and had a little scratch on my leg 2 weeks later, I was in hospital with cellulitis in my legs. I ended up being off work for over 4 weeks.

The doctor pretty much said my weight, being diabetic, and drinking was a large factor in the condition I had.

After feeling sorry about myself, my lovely wife gave me a kick and told me we were both on a diet 😒, so begrudgingly, this is where my journey started......

So since Jan 3rd, I have not had a drink, no takeaways, and used MyFitnessPal to count my intake. And now just weighed in at 162kg.

We have booked a holiday in May, and I am hoping to be below 150kg by then (being able to fasten the aircraft seatbelt without an extension strap)
