Chicken & Noodle Casserole

Prep Time: 20 minutes / Serves: 4
Ingredients
- [ ] 2 cups uncooked medium egg noodles
- [ ] 1 can (10 1/2 oz) Campbell’s Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
- [ ] 1/2 can of water added to the Soup
- [ ] 1/2 cup milk
- [ ] 1 cup frozen peas
- [ ] 2-3 Chicken Breasts or Dark Meat Chicken cut into small pieces. Or use 1 can of Swanson Premium White Chunk Chicken Breast in Water, drained.
- [ ] 1/2 cup of shredded sharp Cheddar Cheese
- [ ] 3 tablespoons crushed dry bread crumbs
- [ ] 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
Step 1 - Cook & drain noodles according to package directions.
While the noodles are cooking, heat the oven to 400F.
Step 2 - Stir the soup, milk, frozen peas, chicken, noodles (I use Kluski noodles) and cheese in a 2 quart casserole dish. Optional… Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3 - Bake for 20-25 minutes. Stir the chicken mixture. Stir the crushed bread crumbs & butter in a small bowl, mix well. Sprinkle the chicken mixture with the crushed bread crumb mixture.
Step 4 - Bake 10-15 minutes longer or until the bread crumb mixture is golden brown.
