I was looking for an alternative to WW and after reading several reviews that recommended MFP I downloaded the app. I'm loving it so far - really like tracking calories rather than points and am loving the support from the community so far. I'm down 9 pounds after only a couple of weeks - I know that will slow down to a pound or two per week but it's a very encouraging start. I'm looking for more friends so please add me if you like.

    from ohio as well. have used this and another site in the past and found it to be the best way to
    help lose a few pounds..ok more than just a few.
    I probably am the worst offender of watching stuff like carbs and protein. I just eat what I want as long as it falls
    within the caloric budget I set. It’s simply a mathematical process.
    You’ll do great as long as your true to the numbers and have the desire.
