Turning 50 soon

Quintuple Bypass, Maze surgery in July of 2021, and now about 3 years later I have gotten lazy about managing my health. Got my Lab results back and my A1C is 6.4, and my weight is up 10 lbs in a year. lol. LDL is very high while my HDL is low even when taking statins. Glad to get a wake-up call. Not trying to be a superhero, drop about 15lbs, and get off my rump off the computer, and go for some short walks or some type of movement. My 50th birthday is in June and would like to be 8 lbs lighter.

Welcome!
Set some good goals, and it already sounds like you have the wisdom to go slow. Keep sticking to it!1
