I am a 68 year old mother of 4, step mom of 5, grandmother of 19, great grandmother of 18. I have a small support team and one of which was a support as long as it had nothing to do with donuts and cookies. That is his weakness. I have a weakness of sweets, mainly caramels, licorice, and Tootsie rolls. It's hard. I have type 2 diabetes. I want to lose weight to get off these meds and have a newer, healthier me. Please Lord guide me and help me lose 50 lbs.

    You have to do this for yourself. No support team can make decisions for you. No deity can make decisions for you. It's up to YOU to set some good goals that are challenging while also achievable and that are time-bound by a deadline and are measurable. Then set up strategies to achieve them. Do it for yourself, and STICK TO IT. That's key - make it about habits so you keep doing it indefinitely.

    You deserve it and owe it to yourself, and it really is only YOU who can do it.
