Do we have to have the millionaire mindset to loose weight and live our life's?How satisfying is to be disciplined in every aspects of the life? How much pain you can handle while you are dieting? I have so many questions? You can either add more or just enlighten me if you like.

I went all in on the 10x rule which has gotten me many of the same results. Since covid, lost 66 lbs, got my mba and my black belt in mixed martial arts as well as a new job as a manager in a huge global company and started my own side business.
It can be done with grit, focus, determination and not taking no for an answer. Especially from yourself.

I don’t have a millionaire mindset - I started my journey in 2018 - lost 50 lbs In 6 mths just reducing calories but was still eating like crap for the most part - i didn’t do any exercise at all and I was content with being skinny fat - meaning I was lighter sure but lost a lot of muscle and was still loose in the cage as Tony Horton says - made some friends here saw them posting their workouts and got inspired - joined a gym in 2019 and just started going not having any idea what I was doing - still not eating the best and drinking more than most but able to basically maintain - since then - I’ve exercised consistently- and kept diet in check but not great I’ve basically maintained with in 15-20 lbs over. This 5 year period - it wasnt til this year that I feel completely dialed In - sober since 1/1 - at least for now - that’s not a long term goal - I just want to get it under control - could change tho - tbd - only work outs missed due to sickness or injury - diet is on point. - have prioritized sleep - reading and learning more about the science of mind and body - I don’t know how long this will last - but I feel the best I’ve ever felt both mentally and physically - I think I’m rambling here a bit and probably added nothing to this but that’s my 2 cents or my story or you get it
ETA - advice - just start - doesn’t have to be perfect - but some change is better than nothing - if you always do what you’ve always done - you will always get what you’ve always got - nah I’m sayin5 -
Small changes over time that you can sustain in the long run is the optimal approach for most people. The no pain no gain, all in, masochist mindset is not going to last.4

I chucked the diet culture and weight loss culture out the window and I started approaching the process with a mindset of loving myself and being healthy. I had to unlearn alot of things. I used to approach weight loss from a place of self hatred and it made it unsustainable which makes sense because how can you pursue positive changes from something you hate? Maybe it's motivation for others but not for me. Small changes, a positive mindset and patience goes a long way. Good luck 😊

If you associate pain and dieting, you need to rethink the whole process.
I’ve lost 40% of me and at no point along the way has it been painful, either physically or mentally.
If you’re cutting calories too low, over exercising, bringing a negative “this is so painful” attitude to the table, then you need to stop, and analyze “why do I feel this way? Why do I think I need to do this? What can I change to improve both the journey and the outcome?”
Like calories in/ calories out, I’ve learned the tough way negative in:negative out. I shifted my mindset. Even if it hadn’t resulted in weight loss, just unburdening myself of all that negativity was a game changer.
Negativity weighs as much as fat does, heavier, even.5
