How do I delete my account?

in MyFitnessPal Tech Support Questions
when I tried it told me I needed to cancel my subscription (which I already had done). The other button was cancel. I tried both options and still have an account.

    If you'd like to delete your account all together, you will need to sign in online at www.myfitnesspal.com. Mobile app users should log in using the same username and password they use in the app.

    Once you've logged in, click "My Home" then "Settings" then "Delete account." Please note if you delete your account it cannot be recovered. If you decide to try MyFitnessPal again, you'll need to choose a new username the next time.
