So basically your doctor wants you to eat meat, fish, shellfish, oils, nuts with a bit of rice and grain products? Why? If there's an actual health reason then can you get a referral to a registered dietician?

Yeah, many Dr's have been prescribing that type of diet for a decade or two and it's a diet recommended to reduce blood sugar issues of people that are insulin resistant and/or have diabetes and reduces A1C, it's been shown to reduce or improve many other health markers like blood pressure, reduces CRP which is basically inflammation, raises HDL, lowers triglycerides which then promotes a more healthy liver and reverses fatty liver and helps people get off many of there medications as well as lose weight from it's effect on many peoples satiety. Why did your Dr. prescribe this diet to you?

    Here's 300 recipes.
