I'm Patty. Having trouble controlling cravings, even when not actually hungry.
Also my blood sugars, type 2 diabetes, are rising. Not good, I know. I welcome all help, encouragement.

Search them out, you'll get much more information quickly than sitting here waiting for others to post a response. Lots of diabetics here. Stick around. There’s a lot of good people and advice to be found on the forums.
There’s a lot of different reasons why you might be having cravings. Could be nutrient related, habit related, or psychological.
Try logging your diet scrupulously for a couple weeks, along with any exercise you do.
Track that with your glucose levels, and any emotional or other factors that arise.
You might spot a pattern.
You might also want to schedule an appointment with a registered dietitian for some detailed individual advice.0
