Hello, My name is Mia and I am rejoining myfitnesspal today. I am thinking about getting premium but not sure if it is worth the investment. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, does my apple watch sync to myfitnesspal?

I lost 31lbs and maintaining for 5 months now without paying for premium.
I don't think it's necessary but its your $ & you do you...0 -
I usually suggest that unless a person has very clear, specific reasons to need premium right away, they start with free MFP.
Most of the essential features are the same in both free and premium. If you start with the free version, you can learn how to use those basics, and get an understanding of what the things on the premium features list might help you. Then you can make an informed decision.
I've used both. I lost weight fine with just free MFP, but now use premium to get a bit more nuanced control over nutrition, which is helpful to me. You may or may not need those features . . . or others in premium.
The one exception might be people who take something seriously if they pay for it, but don't if it's free. Those folks may benefit from paying for premium right up front.
Wishing you success here!

Yes. You can sync your Apple Watch to MFP.
Go to your Health app on your phone, then chose what data you want to share with MFP and vice versa.
Also there is an Apple Watch group here.
I’ll go grab the link and edit it in here in a moment. You might want to join there for more precise discussions about the joys of having an Apple Watch.
Edited: Here’s the link!

Also be sure to go to your watch app on your phone and add the MFP app to your watch there.
