Thought I should pop in this area here and say Hello :-)
I just found this site yesterday and talk about timing! I have been focusing on getting on track the last couple of weeks and this site will be a great help with both the food/exercise trackers and these forums..I find it really helpful to share with people in the same boat!
I have set a goal of 30 pounds for myself..that would bring into the 180 range, I feel like 30 is a pretty substantial goal for me right now so I will roll with it and see what happens.
I have been training in taekwondo since last December..I lost a few pounds at first, I know I am in a bit better shape but I am disappointed that the pounds didn't melt off, so time to kick things up a notch and work more on the food part of my life and add some more exercise. I love TDK (who knew I could love exercise???) and want to be in better shape so in order to do well at it-kwim. Right now I am at TKD 3x a week (75 mins each time) and I am going to 4x a week come September. I have added walking..a short 3km route that I do at a brisk pace on the days I have the time. I just started the 30 day Shred on the weekend...wow..I feel so out of shape..I thought that my TKD training would help..but NOPE..Jillian kicked my butt..lol!
So..time to work hard & stay motivated!
