Are you natty?

Doubt anyone will actually say anything.. but worth a shot because I'm bored as hell and am just interested..

I'm just interested in those whose goals are to gain weight and are either bodybuilders or just into the whole 'get big, ripped and look good' lifestyle.. I want to know if you ever took something you shouldn't have, took something you don't regret, or are even thinking about taking...

Will be interested to know :) Don't worry, I don't judge others on their choices, each has their own goals and are free to make their own decisions.

If anyone feels the need to bash someone else due to their decisions, feel free to GTFO you are not welcome here.

I was being serious. I'm some what interested in developing muscles but right now I'm still in that learning all I can and trying to be able to do more than ten pushups on my toes without my arms quivering phase. I'm too honestly curious right now to be snarky.

I'm natural except for creatine and protein shakes. To most people that doesn't mean not natural, and if so, that's a minority. In the body building world natty generally means you haven't taken test, steroids, prohormones or anything else illegal. Otherwise, I tell people that if you haven't eaten 100% organic grass fed meat, you're waaaaaaaaaay beyond natty.

The main point is that nothing really is needed to achieve basic and advanced goals. Elite top tier professional is a different story for most.

I am 'Natty' not that I am seriously training right now. I honestly believe it's better to be as natural as possible. I think long term that unnecessary medications do more harm than good. I also wouldn't want the look that women get when they are at that level of bodybuilding , and don't find men who are at the same level attractive at all. Natural, no matter what size tends to look way better.

If you really want to know a lot about roids, look up "Bostin Loyd" on Youtube. He is telling his whole regime he took for a whole year. His transformation is amazing for 1 year.
But I won't take any of that *kitten*, I love my health :)

I don't think you're going to get many, if any people admitting to things that in many jurisdictions are illegal.

That said, despite what people think PEDS are generally not a short cut.
For the most part they just allow someone to train much harder, and recover much quicker, the work has to be done. For this reason, they are generally pointless for most people, unless they have got their diet and training 100% sorted out, having been like this a good few years and have stopped making progress.

Perhaps interesting side discussion - PEDs are frowned upon in sport, because it is generally believed that it should be a level playing field, and PEDs stop this. Yet genetics ensure a level playing field will not happen, as every individual is different. Why is one advantage OK, but the other not?
If we stick to just artificial advantages, is it not arbitrary that some things are banned an others not?

Just to close, I am 100% natural, but I train with people who are openly not. Although it's my decision to stay natural, I am still fascinated by the world of PEDs and how it is viewed.

Honestly imo if they werent illegal and didnt come with a whole list of crappy side effects i'm sure i would see what they could do for me. You still have to put in the work So, im sure that means i will never use them..

However i am finding the better i eat and the more patience i have ( everyone wants to be big yesterday) it will all come to me naturally. Right now its just whey protein and BCAAs pre and post workout that i use.

Bodybuilding.com is probably your best bet, can't imagine much people on here are taking anything, even fewer would admit for legal reasons or because so many people are judgmental. The amount of people that are saying steroids are so bad for you yet go out drinking and smoking is absolutely unreal.

Whilst I would agree in principle, that argument is based on something being negative and comparing it to other negative things, to show it in a less negative light.
So while what you say makes sense, just because people think steroids are bad, but do other bad things, that doesn't necessarily make steroids good, if you get what I am saying?

I would also say that it generally takes a lot longer to have side effects from drinking and smoking, and if someone uninformed gets drunk, they'll be back to normal pretty quickly, whereas an uninformed steroid user, who doesn't think about other parts of their cycle and PCT may not be so lucky.

Just for info, in the UK, using and importing steroids for personal use is not illegal, it's only selling them that is. However most of the MFP user base is US based, where it is illegal.

Everybody don't get me wrong please :P I'm not asking because I am interested in taking or whatever reason you may think.. I'm plain an simply interested in knowing people's decisions and if there are people here that do in fact take..

Agreed 100% with HelloDan on his opinion, and respect you fully for your open-mindedness

I've been diagnosed with hypogonadism and am on testosterone replacement therapy. Endo's couldn't tell me why, just stopped working properly when I was 28. Now I'm back at normal levels and feel farkin' brilliant in comparison. Before I was on TRT, I would get my 8-9 hours of sleep a night and wake up feeling like *kitten*! So anyway, I don't call myself natty but not enhanced either, some sort of grey area I'd say. Last blood tests showed my Total T at 13 after 2 weeks and recommended is 11-25. (I think that is nmol)

It's for this reason that I think people should get blood tests if the cals in vs out is not happening as it should. Something can be going on that you don't know about. Before I was diagnosed, I was totalling strugging with recovery and strength increases squatting about 125kg at 75kg BW at the time. Since starting, I've had much better recovery and have had steady strength and bw increases up to 83kg now.

    moral: get your **** checked

I definitely agree with you here, steroids of course have a load of side effects but if anyone wishes to use them and thinks the positives outweigh the negatives then of course they should go for it. Yeah the worst thing about the UK is you have to go out the country to get them which makes no sense haha!

    I've used

    Ephedrine
    T3
    Clen

    Anavar
    Test E
    Tren A

Don't really care on what people think either tbh. Done much needed research before the use of any and taken in doses that are deemed safe, Don't believe the media hype on steroids and how they are portrayed by many who refuse to educate themselves on stuff like Anavar which is given to burns victims and heals up to 60% of burns. Test E or other forms of it given to women who want to be men by Dr's also given to men with low test as trt replacement.

Tren - Well that's a different ball game and is not made to pharma grade as it's mainly used in cattle to make them HUGE. I do wonder if that has been passed on through the meat though to humans lol look how big kids are these days.

I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a "natural" body builder. Eating 5,000+ calories a day of chicken and whey protein is NOT natural. There is nothing "natural" about what a person has to do to get huge.
