So it used to be you would go to the exercise catagory and just add something (like with the food) it would pull up and you added it. I couldnt do that it just did nothing but told me how many calories i burned. The only way it posted was to use some of my old stuff but I wont be doing any of that so I am not sure what i am doing wrong?? I also have my account added to fitbit and it did post something so is that what does it...i dont know i am lost??? HELP

Not an expert in this but, Fitbits can be synced to MFP. What syncing does is compare your stated activity level against your actual activity and credits/debits you for the difference.
Do you remove your Fitbit when you exercise? I don't have anything synced to MFP, but logging cardio workouts gives me calories, logging under the strength section does not.
