Active or total calories?

Hi, when logging exercise in daily log, should we enter active calories or total calories for an exercise? And what’s the difference between the two?

You should only log active calories: total calories includes your BMR (calories burned being alive), which is already included in MFP's calorie goal - you don't want to double count those.2
