In the food recipes everything has written Serves 1/2/3/4 ect
soups, one pot, dishes.. What does it mean? Serves 4 people in 1 cooking?

    That it will make enough food for that many people. Or, if you're eating by yourself, you would divide it into that many meals.

    Yes, it means making the whole recipe would make enough for 4 people.

    However, it may matter how you use the food. Example: If soup is a starter for a bigger meal, one person might have a small cup of that soup. If the same soup is the main meal food, then one person might want a big bowl of the same soup.

    The number of servings in the recipe is guidance, but depending on circumstances, you might want to eat more or less than the standard serving, and that's OK.
