Hi, can anyone tell me if the carbohydrate total depicted is the NET amount? For Galveston diet tracking I need to be 20% protein, 70% Fat and 10% net carbs.

Myfitnesspal's Food database is 99.9% created by users just like yourself. There are *some* Net Carb entries, try using "Net Carbs" when you search.

None of them are reliable until and unless you check them yourself or make new Food entries into the database yourself.

If you want to be sure they're Net Carbs, enter the new foods into the database yourself and then use those entries.

I don’t have an answer for you, but I would really love to pick your brain about this particular diet. I actually just went off of this page and went to Google it because I hadn’t heard of it before and now I’m wondering if this is what I’ve been looking for. I’m going to send you a friend request if that’s OK. I have trouble finding the right fit for me. I really wanted to do keto but not having a gallbladder. It’s not actually a right fit for me. Recently, I ended up at the hospital and such severe pain only to find out that I had colitis which I’ve never had before. Thankfully, the antibiotics in the clear liquid diet helped clear that up and while I was there, the CT show I had a fatty Liver . If I don’t figure out the right type of thing for me soon, my body is just gonna start falling apart because obviously I’ve been neglecting it.

EU food labels are always net carbs. USA food labels aren't, so most database entries won't be either. (There is a net carbs feature for premium members in the US and Canada which subtracts fiber ans sugar alcohols from the carb count)
