Finally Doing It!

Hello everyone!
I’m a 62 year young female and I have been overweight for several years now. I have used myFitness Pal several times before and always come back to it. In the past I would let life get in my way and give up. Not this time! I have now been using this app since 3/9/24 and the first 2 weeks I lost 21lbs! I know a lot of that was water but I can really tell a difference in my clothes. I feel so much better and I went from only sitting or laying on the sofa to getting out and walking. I even wear a fitness watch and track my steps. I’m graduating to the treadmill in my gym since it’s getting hot outside now. I weigh again in 2 days and I’m super excited tj see my progress. The app gave me 1310 calories to start with but I rarely use them all. I normally only eat 1100-1200 calories a day. I’m really just not hungry anymore. I also have to watch my sodium which is in EVERYTHING and it adds up quick. I’m very happy to finally be doing this and I can’t wait to see the new me when I’ve lost it all. It’s been a while. So hello to all and keep up the good work! Don’t give up like I have many times in the past because you will just keep gaining. Bon Appetit!
