Hi, I’m about halfway to my goal weight (doing WW app) but lately I can’t seem to lose despite doing strength training and cardio 5-6 days a week.I figure keeping track of calories may give some insight into why I’m at a standstill.

Keeping track of your calories will definitely help you out. Be sure to log in everything you put into your mouth! I found making myself accountable to MFP, along with a proper balance of protein/healthy fats/carbs, help keep the weight going downwards and discourages mindless snacking.0

Monitoring intake is definitely useful. It's very easy to unconsciously eat more when you're exercising a lot (the appetite increase from exercise isn't necessarily proportional to the calories burned).1
