It does the calculation here: https://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/change-goals-guided

It's at "Goals > View guided setup"

You can use the guided set up in MFP...and choose an appropriate rate of weight loss (for some people 1lb or 2lbs isn't sustainable....so might most appropriate to choose .5lbs/week).
It will automatically calculate your daily calorie goal in order to lose weight. You log your calorie burns through intentional exercise separately and it will add those calories to your daily goal....you should eat at least some of them back. I lost ~25/30lbs while eating back pretty much all of them usually.

Alternatively...You can use a TDEE calculator (which will take into account your usual intentional exercise which is different to how MFP does it)....either way it will let you know an estimate of how many calories you need per day based on your stats and typical activity level...it will also let you know your BMR --- then you can manually choose a calorie goal in MFP that is less than your TDEE, but above your BMR and then go from there.

As far as macros go - prioritize getting enough protein and other than that...you'll have to see what works to keep you satiated well. It'll be different for different people or depending on what activities you're planning on doing that day. There's no 'magic' macro split...but definitely making sure you get enough protein and otherwise your meals are balanced.
