Change your mind, change your body

Below is an article from IFBB Bikini pro Tiffany Boydston. She talks about how to stay accountable. Just some overall good tips.

A few things that help me stay accountable
• My hand dandy journal— to “keep myself in check” on a day-to-day basis.
• Keeping my fridge stocked with healthy selections and healthy treats.
• Having friends and family who encourage and support me in everything I do.
• Make workouts fun and different every time (this is where your journal will remind you of what you have done before and what you can do to change it).
• Having my pantry full of supplements to help me stay on track. I live by my AllMax Nutrition supplementation. Before I even became an athlete I swore by them. I truly believe they helped me get to the next level in seeing my results to this day. Their product line is superior and I am blessed to have them by my side.
DO NOT restrict your calories to 1,200 day in and day out! Start at a healthy 1,500 and go up or down from there. I rarely ever stay below 1,300. That is more of a resting caloric intake (for me; seeing that I am 5’2 it changes for everyone). There are many ways to go on about eating healthy and clean.
• Have a cheat meal! YES ENJOY LIFE. It doesn’t have to be a whole pizza, which is a mistake in my opinion. This will just set you back (been there, done that). Have a few pieces of pizza with a salad and a garlic roll and/or frozen yogurt, etc. This will make you look forward to getting back in your regimen and smash the weights when you’re ready to hit the gym and put those calories to work. Make the food work for you. Not you work the food.
• Get creative with meals! I have made amazing creations with my clean foods! Especially in my last article for those of you who missed it— I even show you how to make a low-carb clean pizza!

These are a few things I do to stay accountable— now what are YOU going to do to make sure YOU are?! It’s time to start living and loving your life the way you want it.
