Why are burned calories on fitness pal different to what my iPhone says?
I played golf and iPhone states I burnt 642 calories, my fitness pal states 314 any ideas as to why?

Your iPhone may be counting gross calories (including your BMR calories) while MFP only takes net calories (only active calories) into consideration. The longer the exercise lasts, the larger the difference between gross and net calories becomes.

Hi Danny, I’m not sure why but if you played 18 holes then it sounds like the 642 is more accurate. Did you add the exercise yourself to MFP or did it sync automatically?
