Macro weight vs percent discrepancy

I'm noticing that no matter what meal I log, if I have a higher content of protein vs fat, the tracker always lists the fat with a greater percentage. Is that just a flaw in the system? Or is there a good reason for the difference?

    There's a good reason: the percentage relates to calorie intake. And fat has 9 kcal per gram, as opposed to carbs and protein which have 4 kcal per gram.
