Is there a way to add my daily steps manually as my step tracker won’t sync with the app?

My Fitness Pal has already given you calorie "credit" for some of your steps based on the activity level you chose. Adding cardio exercise is more for taking a deliberate walk.
Pedometers classify activity levels based on the number of steps taken per day. The following indices have been developed to provide a guideline on steps and activity levels:
Sedentary: Less than 5,000 steps daily
Low active: About 5,000 to 7,499 steps daily
Somewhat active: About 7,500 to 9,999 steps daily
Active: More than 10,000 steps daily
Highly active: More than 12,500 steps daily.
A synced activity tracker gives you more credit (calories) for steps above your chosen activity level, and can take calories away for not meeting the level you chose. You want to be sure you don't double count your steps.1
