Seems like I have lost motivation a lot has happened in the last few months and need to get back on track .
I am having surgery next week and maybe some tips to get there much needed inspiration

Well. You have done the first big thing.
You have recognized that you want to get back on track.
The surgery however has to be figured in.
You didn’t mention what type. But no matter. Whatever type of surgery you’re having, it will be a stressor.
I recommend taking it easy for a bit.
Definitely discuss nutrition pre and post op with your doctor.
Focus on the activities that are cleared as acceptable for you by your medical team. And focus on nutrition over weight loss. Be sure to log everything. And keep on keeping on.
Motivation is a fickle thing. You can’t rely on it.
But you can build good habits.
