I’m excited to start this journey to a healthier me. Being apart of a supportive group is a good way to start. We all need a little motivation every now and then.

    You are 100% correct that it’s a journey.
    When I first started my journey I was scared of the gym .
    I was so self aware that I wouldn’t allow myself to get healthier.
    Seeing fit people , watching others working so hard was a bit intimidating.
    I was defeating myself before I truly got started.

    I stayed around the Bikes and just rode.
    One day it dawned on me that people weren’t looking at me, they were looking thru me.

    They were on their own JOURNEY.
    That was the day I truly changed.
    Working harder & making better choices helped me shed 40 pounds.

    I started having people come up to me at the gym (Recently back from an injury) and tell me how much I changed.
    Trainers would approach me and tell me how great I was doing.

    One of the most important things, I discovered , is that others truly want you to succeed.
    Others are wanting you to be a better you.

    Welcome- We're all a positive bunch here.
    My quick advice- come to an understanding that you probably need to re-invent your eating/exercise lifestyle.
    We all make great plans and sometimes have lapses in self-discipline. Dont feel guilty- just keep trying.
    I like to say- The wagon will always let you back on
