12 stone weightless journey

Hi everyone, firstly I'd love some friends to add to encourage each other, secondly I want to introduce myself.
To cut a long story short I have struggled with eating disorders since I was about 8. In recent years it has been binge eating disorder but my lack of self worth didn't help. I have this under control now which is amazing but I have a very long journey ahead and need encouragement to keep going. Recently after over a stone weight loss the scales have stayed the same. I have upped my exercise. I've been tracking. I'm hoping it's just a small blip in the road but sometimes it gets me down. Anyone else?

Hi @Charlotte5548 welcome to the boards.
How long have you been “plateaued”. Zero loss, or just not what you expected/hoped for?
I had many such periods during my own loss, and many friends and folks here on the board report the same.
Have you done measurements? Often when the scale isn’t moving, other things are.
I strong suggest checking out the NSV (non-scale victories) thread over on the Success Stories board. I have read every single one of them starting at post #1. In fact, i would deliberately “bank” posts to read later when I hit periods the scale wasn’t dropping.
I identify with almost every single post there (except a handful relating to male privates, lol). That thread has been a godsend to me to recognize changes that were happening when loss stalled.0 -
Also, have someone you trust take front back side photos of you, and candid photos when you’re unaware (and aren’t sucking in or standing up straight)
It wasn’t until a trainer started regularly texting me photos from our workouts that it fell into place in my head. I still thought of myself as “fat”, even when I darn near hit underweight. Those photos recombobulated my brain to see what I hadn’t seen.0
