Hello from Philly this is an eye openner

Greg from Philly just started with MyFitnessPal and it is an eye opener to how quickly those calories add up. Nice thing is that even though I'm hungry the counting is helping me. Looking forward to losing 20 lbs and then another 20lbs. I chose this app based on a recommendation by Chris Terrell and his podcast.

What is a good function to try using? I have a Garmin and the step connection is nice but it seems like I have to force the connect. It is not as proactive as I would have thought.

    Welcome, Greg!

    I do not use any automated logging features, everything I do is hand-jammed in. It worked when I was losing 40lbs of fat, and now while I've been gaining 22lbs of muscle. Maybe others can testify to the various add-ons they've used.
