What am I doing wrong?

Hello all, please read as I feel I am doing everything right and yet not losing weight.

I am obese at 255 pounds and started making changes to lose weight in October 2023. I went from a desk job to waiting tables, which increased my activity tenfold. In terms of how I feel from then to now, I feel incredible. At my heaviest I was 290 pounds and could barely walk 1000 feet without getting winded and serious leg and back pain. Now I'm going on 10 mile hikes and playing tennis!

My first 30 pounds fell off so quick I couldn't believe it, but for the last 3 months I have barely lost weight at all. I track every calorie I eat, eat in a deficit consistently, don't drink alcohol and continue to be more and more active.

For the last week or so I've started 75 hard, so im now adding a workout to the 10-15000 steps i get at work every day and eating a gallon of water a day.

I feel like at my size and with my activity and calorie deficit I should be dropping pounds so fast but I can't seem to lose it.
Please help!

Have you recalculated your calorie goal based on your new weight? How much are you eating per day? Has your dr checked your thyroid and such recently? How tall are you also?

What does that mean precisely, 'barely lost weight at all' over the past 3 months? And how fast did you lose those first 30 lbs?

And same questions from me as the poster above: how much are you eating? Have you adjusted your calorie goal since losing those 30 lbs?

Its possible you've reached the point where you're calories are at maintenance levels for the new you.
You may need to re-examine your daily calorie allowance and reduce it.
