Hi all. I gave myself the gift of better nutrition and exercise for my birthday. Happy to meet other peppy gals for info and support.

I'm 69. I have had multiple cardiac problems including 3 heat attacks and bypass grafts ( thank you Dad). I have neuropathy. I have tried several times to lose weight. My nurse practitioner scared the hell out of me. I follow the calorie plan I promised myself to lose 80 lbs by my birthday in July, I started at 260 and I now weigh 240. I have been at it religiously for one month1

@NichaelRet Good job… 20lbs is certainly a progress to be proud of… You got this!!! Don’t give up! With medical problems ( I can relate ) can make it hard to incorporate exercise but the little that you do is better then Nothing… I myself am 85 % sedentary but now I’m doing more walking ( walk my dog ) and surprisingly I do 20 minutes will work on going higher but Good Luck!0
