Eat less, that's the only way that works. And fast is not good per definition. Lose weight, learn new habits, keep the weight off instead of either losing the weight fast, go back to old habits and regain or crash and burn early on and give up.6

Losing weight the fastest way also tends to result in re-gaining weight the fastest way.
"Lose weight fast then go back to normal" is the recipe for yo-yo weight, which is probably the least healthy option.
Instead, work on finding the easiest way to lose weight at a sensibly moderate pace, learning new habits on the way that will serve you well to keep weight in a healthy range permanently.
Enjoyable, calorie appropriate eating. Fun ways of increasing activity (in daily life as well as exercise). That's what I'd suggest.
To lose weight fastest? Eat little or nothing, exercise long and hard until you drop from exhaustion . . . or as close to that as you can manage, white-knuckled and holding on by your fingernails. Unlikely you'll lose much weight in total, but what you do lose will drop off fast. That's NOT what I'd suggest.
Give it a rethink.
Good luck, sincerely.4 -

How much do you have to lose? Unless you're obese and your doctor feels rapid weightloss overshadows other issues you have then too fast a loss can be problematic. You didn't put it on overnight so it won't come off overnight.
Start by eliminating highly processed foods and liquid calories and concentrate on lean protein and veggies. That alone will cause a decent loss and healthy also.1 -
I 've lost 10lbs in 3 months. Any faster would have been miserable. It's hard enough as it is.4

I got sick at my stomach and lost 30 pounds in 2 months. My hair fell out. My skin looked like an alligator and fell off. I was weak, trembling, miserable. I certainly hope I never lose that fast again.
Years ago, under the supervision of a dietician and a trainer, I lost about 10 pounds a month for 6 months. Much more pleasant.
I kept most of it off both times.3 -
The best way to lose fast is to start right now at this moment and don't delay. Don't cheat at all. Be honest; plug in your weight and see what calories you are allotted per day and stick to it. NO fudging.. cheat days.. bull crap. I see amazing things on here from people who just do it...and get it done.0

The fastest way would be for you to start now and go slow. I'm serious. If you try to do it fast - maybe you can drop a bunch of weight fast - but then the chance of you putting it back on (plus some) are quite high statistically. So it's best to start, be consistent, build in lifestyle changes and habits that are doable, and stay the course -- and slow and steady wins the race with no backtracking (or at least far less backtracking) which overall will make your sustained weight loss 'faster'.
If asking for crash diet advice - no.2 -
Fastest? Liposuction or cut off a limb.
Fastest loss for just weight? lose water weight.
Fastest fat loss? There is NO fast way.

If you need to lose weight fast for a health issue, you should be under medical care.
Really no other reason is worth the risks of rapidly losing a significant amount of weight. This includes joining the military or getting married. If you just need to lose 5-10 pounds in a few weeks, you could switch to a keto diet. You'll mostly lose water, not fat, but could accomplish that goal.
What Are the Risks of Rapid Weight Loss?
Rapid weight loss creates physical demands on the body. Possible serious risks include:- Gallstones, which occur in 12% to 25% of people losing large amounts of weight over several months

- Electrolyte imbalances, which rarely can be life threatening
Other side effects of rapid weight loss include:- Headaches
- Irritability
- Fatigue
- Dizziness
- Constipation
- Menstrual irregularities
- Hair loss
- Muscle loss
